Releasing new screenshots from Sins of a Solar Empire, Stardock Entertainment and Ironclad Games today unveiled a few details regarding their beta-test plans. If you pre-order the game on their website, you will be able to enter the beta which starts on March 27th. The limited-feature beta will initially be single-player only and will feature a single playable race as it is aimed to help them test the game engine on a wide range of PCs. Sins of a Solar Empire is a real-time space strategy title where players will explore and conquer nearby planets and distant solar systems by applying brute force, cunning strategy, elegant diplomacy, economic mastery, and researched technology. Developed by Ironclad Games, Sins of a Solar Empire will be available on TotalGaming.net and retail stores across North America in August 2007.
