Rock Band Announced

Harmonix, MTV and Electronic Arts today announced Rock Band, a game where you and your friends will be able to play famous songs as a band, using drum, bass/lead guitar and microphone peripherals. The game will be released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 during holiday 2007 with tracks from artists signed by EMI Music, Hollywood Records, Sony BMG Music Entertainment, Universal Music Group's Universal Music Enterprises and Warner Music Group's Rhino Entertainment.
