If you downloaded the demo from the Internet, and receive an error message like "The file does not appear to be a valid archive," it is likely that the file transfer was incomplete. In this case, downloading the file again will help.

3. Demo Contents
------------------------------------------------------------------------
The demo version of DTR2 is different from the full version in the following ways:
- No career mode
- Only 2 of 14 tracks are available
- Only 2 of 15 cars, and 2 of 60 skins (paint jobs), are available
- All races go for 8 laps
- Tuning is disabled (except for gear ratio changes)
- Several multiplayer race options are disabled
- Movies are not included
- Custom data additions (e. g. custom car skins) are not supported
You will also regularly see various screens appear to remind you that this is a demonstration version.
Please note that the game textures in the demo have been Jpeg compressed in order to reduce the distribution size. This means that the demo may in some situations be of slightly lower visual quality than the final game.
