Fender Equips Rock Band

Harmonix, MTV: Music Television, and Electronic Arts today announced that Fender Musical Instruments Corporation will have their instruments exclusively featured in Rock Band, a game where you and your friends will be able to play famous songs as a band, using drum, bass/lead guitar and microphone peripherals. In addition, Roland Corporation and BOSS have agreed to have their brands featured within Rock Band. The game will be released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 during holiday 2007 with tracks from artists signed by EMI Music, Hollywood Records, Sony BMG Music Entertainment, Universal Music Group's Universal Music Enterprises and Warner Music Group's Rhino Entertainment.
