Project Sylpheed for the Xbox 360, a 3D makeover of the classic, mid-‘80s scrolling shooter franchise
Silpheed, has gone gold and will start shipping to retailers on Tuesday, July 10. As Katana Faraway, players must pilot a Delta Saber space fighter equipped with a highly customizable arsenal of weapons. In order to succeed, players must execute squadron commands and monitor their speed, shield, radar and weapons as they maneuver out of challenging situations and defend Earth against the evil ADAN forces. Square Enix, Project Sylpheed will be available for an estimated retail price of $39. A playable demo is now available on Xbox LIVE Marketplace, offering an entire mission with an expanded weapons arsenal, as well as a full tutorial level and and in-game introduction trailer. A batch of
