Warriors Orochi Announced and Screens

KOEI today announced that its two popular franchises, Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors, will meet this fall in a new game named Warriors Orochi. Warriors Orochi will feature a roster of 77 playable characters from both titles, four action-packed “crossover” storylines, and the new "Team Battle System" and "Weapon Fusion" will push Tactical Action to a whole new level. For the first time in KOEI’s Tactical Action games, players can create their own three-person tag team. At any given time, one warrior will be engaged in battle, while the other two are recuperating; restoring their Life Meters and Musou Gauges (press 'read more' for details). In the works at Omega Force, Warriors Orochi is due to ship on September 18, 2007, for Xbox 360 and PS2 - a batch of screenshots has been added in our gallery.
