CDV Software Entertainment USA and Slitherine Software have announced an agreement to co-publish Slitherine's strategy franchises in North America. As part of this agreement, CDV USA will ship The History Channel Great Battles of Rome to North American retail on September 17 2007. The game includes over 100 battles like the Punic and Samnite Wars and Julius Caesar's conquest of Britain and lots of units like legionaries, archers, cavalry and even war-elephants, all of them in various environments including steppe, forest, desert and coastline, with both day and night lighting.
