2K Games has released a new trailer from The Darkness, the video game adaptation of the popular Top Cow comic book series in the works at Starbreeze, the development studio behind The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay, Knights of the Temple and Enclave - you must be 17 or older to download or view the trailer. The main character of the game is Jackie Estacado, a fearless Mafia hitman for the Franchetti crime family who is suddenly possessed by the terrifying and spectacular powers of The Darkness. Throughout the game, players must learn to control and harness The Darkness power in order to overthrow the vicious mob boss and fulfill their destiny. The Darkness is due to ship at the end this June, for Xbox 360 and PS3.
