Valve has announced that Iocaine Studios is looking for 5,000 gamers for the Stress Test of ThreadSpace: Hyperbol which will be released via Steam in the next few weeks. The goal of the Stress Test is to ensure the game is ready to host massive numbers of players and servers. ThreadSpace: Hyperbol is an action-strategy game set in the distant future, where players will engage in highly tactical multiplayer combat as they control massive gunships capable of firing a large variety of projectiles. ThreadSpace: Hyperbol will feature a persistent universe, customizable ships, multiplayer up to 16 players, and more.
