Electronic Arts has issued a new (beta) patch for Battlefield 2142, bringing the latest installment in the Battlefield franchise to v1.40 (thanks: Blues). The patch includes several bugfixes and gameplay tweaks, as well as the Highway Tampa map released for Battlefield 2 a while ago (story) . The Battlefield 2142 demo is locally mirrored here and the demo dedicated server can be found here.
