JoWooD Productions today announced that the retail version of Sam & Max: Season 1 will be released in Europe on September 5th, with full German and French localizations, as well as Italian subtitles. The package also contains an all-new Sam & Max Behind the Scenes video, a full-sized printed poster featuring artwork by Sam & Max creator Steve Purcell, trailers for all six episodes, lots of concept artwork and desktop wallpapers, previously unreleased character bios, access to other Sam & Max goodies, such as an online web comic and comic generator for making your very own comic strips and an MP3 soundtrack sampler.
