Electronic Arts has announced that a playable demo for the PC and Xbox 360 version of
Medal of Honor: Airborne will be released Thursday, allowing you to try out this World War II first-person shooter sequel (thanks:
Blues). Medal of Honor: Airborne is a game where you play the part of Boyd Travers, Private First Class of the 82nd Airborne Division, a soldier engaging battles all over Europe. The multiplayer will feature three game modes. In Team Deathmatch Airborne, utilizing the core feature of the game, classic Team Deathmatch goes vertical. Allied troops jump into the level from above, creating a chaotic environment where enemies can come from anywhere. in Team Deathmatch mode, the Axis and Ally teams both spawn on the ground, in a classic team face-off. And in Objective Airborne mode, Allies start in the sky and drop into the level to lock helmets with Axis troops in a tooth-and-nail battle for control of three flags. Medal of Honor Airborne will be available on September 4th, for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
