New sci-fi shooter blends first-person action with character progression and hundreds of thousands of weapons for an unmatched cooperative gaming experience
2K Games has announced that it will publish Borderlands, an action sci-fi shooter game in the works at Gearbox Software, for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. Scheduled to be available holiday 2008, Borderlands promises to deliver life-like character animations, impressive real-time physics, customizable vehicles, as well as near-endless variety in missions, environments, enemies, weapons, item drops and character customization.
