Target, Activision, and RedOctane have announced that starting October 28 the Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock fans can head on into Target stores for an exclusive bundle that includes the game, two specially designed guitar controllers and a customization kit full of guitar straps and stickers. The bundle will retail for $109.99.
In related news, WaveGroup has announced that The Guitar Hero Recordings will be available for digital download on October 23rd, 2007. WaveGroup has partnered with digital distribution company INGrooves to secure distribution for the seven volumes of The Guitar Hero Recordings on music download sites including AOL, iTunes, Napster, Rhapsody, and Yahoo!.
