Nintendo today announced that Nintendo DS sales during the Thanksgiving week passed the Game Boy Advance sales from the same week in 2005, totaling 653,000 units. Nintendo Wii sold 350,000 during the same timeframe. Wii reached 5 million units sold in the United States only, faster than any video game system in history, after only 12 months of availability.
