Joymax today announced Silkroad Online Worldwide Championship, an event which is taking place on December 1st, being included in this year's Game & Game World Championship (GNGWC). Two U.S. players, including last year's champion, battled their way through the North American qualifying round in October. For their efforts, they will travel to Korea at Joymax’s expense to compete in the global finals, along with finalists from Germany, Korea, Vietnam, Taiwan and Japan. At the conclusion of the final round, the top player will head home with $5,000 US, with second and third place receiving $3,000 US and $1,000 US, respectively.
