S2 Games today announced that Savage 2: A Tortured Soul, the sequel to Savage: The Battle for Newerth, will be available on January 16th 2008 (thanks: Blues). Savage 2: A Tortured Soul features an improved melee system, a FPS or third person RPG gameplay for different characters, better items and an enhanced spell casting system. As for graphics, they implemented high quality models and animations, fully dynamic self shadows, realistic reflective water effects, bump mapping and pixel shaders.
