3DRealms has issued a new patch for Prey, bringing the retail version of the FPS developed by Human Head Studios to v1.4. This update includes compatibility files for the Japanese release of Prey and removes the disc check from the game. There are no bug fixes or new content in this release. Also included with the patch is updated Windows based dedicated server files. An updated dedicated server for Linux is available as a separate download (thanks: icculus.org).
