Eidos today announced that Highlander will be released later this year for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. The game features a new main character, Owen Macleod, as well as many other characters from the movies and the tv series, 4 environments (New York, Scottish Highlands, Japan and Pompei), 18 missions and 3 weapons (Katana, Claymore and Double Sword). The game is written by David Abramowitz (writer of the Highlander TV series) and uses the Unreal Engine 3 licensed from Epic Games.
