2K Sports has announced that the NBA 2K8 All-Star Challenge Tournament, hosted at the NBA Jam Session, will be supported by Chris Paul, NBA 2K8 cover athlete for 2K Sports and first-time All-Star for the New Orleans Hornets, along with Rudy Gay, rising star for the Memphis Grizzlies and participant in this year's Sprite Slam Dunk contest, and Mike Conley, starting point guard for the Memphis Grizzlies and member of the Rookie team participating in the Rookie Challenge & Youth Jam. NBA 2K8 All-Star Challenge Tournament will pair the top two finalists from the United States in a semi-final match, and the winner will move on to face the finalist from Asia, as they battle in a thrilling East vs. West World Championship on Xbox 360. For ultimate bragging rights, the champion will be crowned the undisputed top NBA 2K8 player in the world, and have a chance to win other prizes including a $1,000 GameStop gift card, assorted NBA All-Star apparel, and other autographed memorabilia.
