D3Publisher of America and Vicious Cycle Software today announced that Dead Head Fred has won the Writers Guild of America's inaugural Videogame Writing Award. In Dead Head Fred, you play detective Fred Neuman who is murdered and then resurrected in a bizarre scientific experiment. You must collect, upgrade and switch heads on the fly to strategically fight malformed mutants, ghoulish gangsters and maniacal mob bosses. 2008 Writers Guild Awards winners in all categories were announced on Saturday, February 9th.
