Capcom also confirmed the development of Lost Planet: Extreme Condition Colonies Edition, an expansion which extends the original game by delivering fresh new content and gameplay options, as well as online cross-platform play between both the Xbox 360 and Windows-based PCs using Xbox LIVE and Games for Windows - LIVE. Scheduled for May 27th, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition Colonies features three new modes for single-player campaign, and a host of new maps, characters, weapons and online modes.
