Capcom today announced they have secured the license for the 2008 season of MotoGP, with the first title developed for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, Nintendo Wii and PC. The previous games were published by
THQ, except the PlayStation 2 version of
MotoGP 07 which marked a new era for the franchise as it was published last year by Capcom. The 2008 grid also includes Japan’s Shinya Nakano, plus newcomers for the new season, such as 250cc World Champion Jorge Lorenzo and last year’s World Superbike Champion, James Toseland, from the UK. There are no more details and no release dates revealed, but if we were to guess, they'll aim for an autumn 2008 launch. Check the new
bike render uploaded to our gallery.
