Spiderweb Software has released updated demos for both Windows and Mac versions of Avernum 5, allowing you to try out the latest game in the Avernum series now available for purchase from its official website. Avernum 5 is set in the world of Avernum, an enormous series of caves far under the surface of the world. Players will explore this enormous, alien environment, meet multitudes of interesting characters, and rampage through many unique dungeons and hostile cities. This new version fixes several scripting errors, including a very rare but unpleasant problem with the Lysstak the Beast fight.
