Happy Birthday Starcraft!

Starcraft is now ten years old and to celebrate this moment Blizzard Entertainment released a short retrospective of the game which has now become a phenomenon. The year of its release, more than 1.5 million copies of StarCraft were sold around the world, making it the bestselling PC game of 1998. To date, it has sold more than 9.5 million copies worldwide. A considerable number of those copies have been sold in South Korea where the game still enjoys unprecedented levels of popularity. The sequel, Starcraft II was announced on May 19th, 2007, with a release date still to be disclosed.
