Saved and recorded games using the 1.01 patch are not compatible with the game once it has been updated to 1.01a
As promised, Ensemble Studios has issued a new patch for Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties, updating to v1.01a this AOE 3 expansion (thanks: The Patches Scrolls). The patch contains a fix for the French cheap church card exploit. A demo is available here.
