Cornered Rat Software has released the v1.7.2 patch for their massively multiplayer online FPS game World War II Online. The small patch contains mostly fixes.
This week we have a small patch that contains mostly fixes. Here's the read me. ===================== World War Two Online ===================== ver# 172 (Public) -Fixed CTD where disabling sounds in the Settings.exe caused CTD -Fixed QF2pounder deployment, gun should be much more stable on deployment -Fixed compatibility issues with MAC OS 10.1 -Fixed keymapper bug for absolute values when setting percentages in keymapper IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ THIS !!!! In order to build a foundation for in game supply systems and support development of depth in strategic systems in the future, attrition of all units has been added to the game. As of this update all units in game (infantry, armor, artillery and air) will be under attrition. This means all units are valuable and will not be available for spawning at a base or FB when killed. Units will be resupplied one hour after they have spawned, provided the city is not contended (enemy owns any facility). Any damage to a vehicle that will award an enemy a kill will also remove that vehicle from the spawn list of it's origin. If a city is cut off from supply either by contention or not having supply links to another city, no units will be resupplied until supply is established by uncontesting the city or establishing a valid supply link. All FB's are now killable only by sappers. Due to these new features garrison strengths have been increased at all cities by 60%. As well, allocations of vehicles from mission and non mission availability has been changed. The garrison numbers are as follows. These numbers will possibly be adjusted in the near future.
