Global Star Software today announced plans to release Airport Tycoon 2 for the PC platform. This sequel to the original 3D airport management sim, Airport Tycoon (2000), will be released in February 2003. Check the press release for details & screens.
Global Star Software Announces Airport Tycoon 2 for PC, and have Released Early Screenshots December 4th, 2002 - Toronto, Canada - Today Global Star Software, a subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive (NASDAQ: TTWO), has announced plans to release Airport Tycoon 2 for the PC platform. This long awaited, highly anticipated sequel to the original 3D airport management sim, Airport Tycoon (2000), will be released in February 2003. Airport Tycoon 2 will allow players to oversee every aspect of building and operating a full-scale international airport. Players begin the game by choosing a site to build their airport from over 25 diverse locations across the globe. As the game progresses, they must make bold and timely decisions to construct and evolve into the world's largest transportation mecca. To achieve success, players must build efficiently, employ reliable airlines, provide airtight security, offer the ultimate in service, and more. Airport Tycoon 2 in under development at Sunstorm Interactive, and will be released in stores worldwide at an expected price of $19.99. It has not yet been rated by the ESRB.
