The title of the next game in the Mortal Kombat series has been confirmed. It is Mortal Kombat vs. DC Comics. While the title should pose no threat to the Mortal Kombat franchise, word is there are no fatalities and almost no blood at all, two of the elements which made Mortal Kombat titles write history. As you can imagine, the fans are pretty upset with this situation and threatening with petitions. You can check all of their comments on Midway's MK forums. If this evolves into a mass protest, then MK's future success is uncertain and since this is one of the few franchises keeping Midway on track, we can very well speculate the unthinkable.
