As expected (story), Westwood Studios and Electronic Arts have released a demo of Earth and Beyond, allowing you to try this online space RPG. This trial version "offers everything that the full retail version of the game offers, but is limited to five days worth of play-time." Note also that this demo requires a massive 1 GB download (!) Download:
  • Earth and Beyond 5 Day Trial Demo (1.07 GB !!!)
  • This five day trial version of the game offers everything that the full retail version of the game offers, but is limited to five days worth of play-time. When the five days is up players can either stop playing or sign up at the EA Store ($21.95 for an online registration code) or they buy the full boxed product anywhere ($29.95) and use that code. From there players get 30 days free, after which they'll begin to pay the monthly subscription fee. Players of the Five Day Demo can bring the characters they created with the demo into the full retail game, so they don't have to start over from scratch if they are interested in continuing the fun! The Earth and Beyond Five Day Demo is available the next eight days (December 9 - 16) to everyone, so if you want to give it a spin, make with the downloading!
