Atari today released the first batch of screenshots from Dragon Ball: Origins for Nintendo DS. Developed by Namco Bandai Games, Dragon Ball: Origins follows Goku and his sidekick, Bulma, as they travel the world overcoming enemies and obstacles to collect the 7 Dragon Balls. In the shoes of Goku, the player must protect Bulma from incoming enemy attacks using special skills, such as fighting with his power pole, or unleashing a kamehameha. Alone in the Dark PS3 Artwork

We have new artwork from Alone in the Dark, illustrating the locations from this upcoming adventure game in the works at Hydravision and Eden. Alone in the Dark follows a story where over the course of one apocalyptic night, hero Edward Carnby must uncover the earth-shattering secret hidden in New York's iconic Central Park. The game is now available for Xbox 360, PC, Wii and PS2 - the PS3 version is scheduled for autumn 2008.

Bejeweled Reaches 25 Million Copies Sold

PopCap Games today announced that Bejeweled and Bejeweled 2 have sold more tha 25 milllion units across all platforms since the game first appeared in late 2000. More than 350 million copies of the the games have been downloaded from the Web, accounting for nearly a third of the 1 billion-plus downloads of all PopCap titles. Tens of millions of copies of Bejeweled have been installed on mobile phones worldwide.

Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock DragonForce Track Pack Coming This Week

Codemasters Signs Fuel

Codemasters today announced they obtained the worldwide publishing rights to FUEL from Asobo Studios. The game uses Asobo Studios' proprietary engine, being in development at Asobo Studios in Bordeaux, France, for the PLAYSTATION 3, Xbox 360 and PC, with a release planned for 2009. FUEL is set in an alternate present in which whole swathes of the globe have been ravaged by the effects of climate change brought on by decades of environmental abuse. Here, oil prices have rocketed and yet a new breed of racing junkie takes to the wastelands, pitting their grungy home-tuned vehicles against each other in an all-new extreme sport as they compete to win fuel supplies.
