It seems Eidos is still convinced that sex sells games, although it will not be selling one particular title through certain consumer publications. According to a report on GameWEEK, Eidos has "gone too far" in promoting its upcoming PS console title, Fear Effect 2. A print ad for the product shows two bathing suit-clad females in a suggestive position, with a caption that redefines the concept of innuendo. Unnamed magazines, perhaps sensitive to the social spotlight that has been placed on the gaming business, have refused to run the ad in upcoming issues.
