Nintendo May US Sales Report Released

Nintendo today announced that the US May sales chart as reported by the NPD Group was dominated by Mario Kart Wii and Wii Fit, these titles occupying the second and third place. Wii represented 63 percent of all current-generation consoles sold in May, while Nintendo DS had a 71 percent share of the portable market, with lifetime sales of Wii now standing at nearly 10.2 million and Nintendo DS at more than 20 million.
