Future has announced that shortlist voting for the 26th Annual Golden Joystick Awards is now open - the UK games industry is called to support the event. Following a month of longlist voting, more than 100,000 votes have helped organisers whittle down nominees in each of the 15 gamer voted categories. Now the real work begins, with each vote from gamers directly influences which titles are in with a chance of being awarded a Golden Joystick. The Golden Joystick Awards promotion campaign has kicked into gear, and Future hopes this year's event will crack one million votes, with voting open until Monday, 20th October.
