Sony Computer Entertainment today announced the release of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots database via their US PlayStation Network. This is a free, downloadable interactive application containing the official knowledge base of everything that is Metal Gear, including complete storylines, character profiles and relationship diagrams. If you worry about spoilers, have no fear, all of them are blacked until you finish MGS4. In related news, SCE also announced that the first free downloadable content is now available, including new camouflage and a new music track for the in game iPod.
