The Witcher Enhanced Edition, an improved and better packaged version of
The Witcher, will be released in the first half of September 2008 (thanks:
Blues). The Witcher Enhanced Edition includes two new mods, The Price of Neutrality and Side Effects, a mod editor allowing you to create new adventures, lots of graphic and gameplay features (100 new gesture animations in dialogue and cutĀ]scenes, giving conversations with NPCs a more natural feel, improved inventory, auto-save option, auto-looting of containers and a character differentiation mechanism), as well as lots of bug fixes and improvements starting with load times shortened by 80% and ending with a correction of all the English dialogue and voice-work. The Witcher Enhanced Edition package includes the game DVD, a DVD with the D'jinii Mod Editor, as well as the two new adventures, a video DVD with extended material detailing the making of the game, a music CD with 29 tracks from the game, a music CD with 15 tracks of music inspired by the game, an 80-page instruction booklet, a 112-page official guide written by the game's developers and a 50-page short story written by Andrzej Sapkowski, as well as a map of the game world.
