If you have problems updating Sim City 4 with the online patch system (which requires IE 6 and ActiveX controls enabled), Electronic Arts has now released a standalone patch for Maxis' building sim. The update is for the US version only - other versions will follow shortly - and adds support for ATI Radeon R300 series and fixes several bugs/crashes.
