Ignition Entertainment and SNK Playmore today announced the upcoming European release of Samurai Showdown Anthology for PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable and Wii. Samurai Showdown Anthology contains all 6 titles of the franchise, which first appeared on the NEOGEO MVS system in July 93. The games setting, use of sword based weapons and varied and memorable characters was a departure from other fighters released at that time.
