Tuesday 11 March, 2003. Twilight Software, an independent game studio originally based in Sydney, Australia, is proud to announce the impending release of The Sydney Mystery, a mainstream adventure game from Brendan Reville. The CD-ROM based adventure game features a super-simple interface, 240 scenes, 17 different locations, and 11 characters. Filmed and photographed entirely on location in beautiful Sydney, Australia, the game immerses the player in a mystery in which a kidnapped uncle has disappeared in a grim underworld of treacherous characters and plot twists. The game was produced completely independently, but polished to be a comprehensive adventure with some help from Dean Halford and a large contingent of volunteers. Brendan Reville designed and wrote the game, photographed and filmed the locations, wrote the soundtrack, directed the dialogue, and programmed the underlying AGE Adventure Game Engine. A game demo of Act One will be available soon, and the title will be available for purchase online at an affordable price.
