A new update is also available for Goldrush, bringing this Soldier of Fortune 2 mod to v1.1. The patch fixes several bugs in the code/maps, and adds two new maps. Please note that some textures are missing from the update, so you'll also need to download the Texture Fix. Gamer's Hell Local Download:

  • Goldrush just got even better! Here is the first update for Goldrush. This patch updates Public Beta 1.0 to 1.1... The patch fixes several bugs in the code/maps, etc and adds two great maps to kick some serious ass. Changes: - Fixed: Fixed the bad spawns in Chop Suey (cctf, cah/tcah) - Fixed: Hopefully rebalanced GOLD in Chop Suey by closing 1 door and moving the flag a bit - Added: Supply Station 22c, a very nice map by Cornelius. Supports DM/TDM/ELIM/INF/CTF/CTB/TCTB/CCTF/CAH/TCAH/LASTMAN and SABO - Added: Supply Vertigo Gold, a very nice map by Torchy. Supports DM/TDM/ELIM/CTF/CTB/TCTB/CCTF/LASTMAN and SABO - Fixed: a few issues in Gangland (crates in red base, balance GOLD, opened 3rd door building blue base for some gametypes) - Fixed: a few issues in Subway (rebalanced GOLD, bigger bases + better effects in SABO, added support for CTB/TCTB/TCAH/LASTMAN) - Fixed: Removed the tooltip from the modfilter (joinserver menu) - Fixed: The m203 grenades are a bit more powerfull now - Fixed: You can't start maps anymore in unsupported gametypes (pheeeew) - Fixed: Radio-menu (1 extra sound "call for reinforcements" + removed empty chapter) - Fixed: Sabotage gametype (hopefully no more "is on fire" caused by the bomb) <<-- but difficult to test - Fixed: Pointsystem in Sabotage gametype (old system sometimes gave 10 points to the planeter without the bomb going off, and now a elimination allways gaves 1 point (also when a bomb is planted)! - Fixed: CTB/TCTB gametype (less sounds and less messages) - Fixed: The bots are a BIT smarter now (still faaaaaaaaar from prefect) - Added: You can play all CTF map as CCTF map now (no control over the location of the pickups, but most stock maps were fine (mp_col1 sucks)) - Added: You can play all DM maps as LASTMAN maps now - Fixed: Updated the manual a bit And maybe more... NOTE: This patch should be installed over Goldrush Public Beta 1. The two versions are NOT compatible (several files will be replaced)! Have fun with it... we think it completely rocks!
