Rock Band Special Edition Bundle Now Available

Harmonix, MTV Games and Electronic Arts have announced that the original Rock Band Special Edition Bundle is available for PS2 and Wii, priced $99.99. This package includes a microphone, Fender Stratocaster-modeled guitar controller and drum controller. The Rock Band Special Edition Bundle is also available for Xbox 360 and PS3, starting at $139.99.
In related news, MTV announced that five groups of Rock Band playing fanatics will compete in Rock Band Battle on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 1:00pm ET/PT. Hosted by comedian Dan Levy with actress Carrie Keagan taking on co-hosting duties, the one hour special will feature five Rock Band groups going head-to-head as they attempt to live out their rock 'n roll dreams and compete for a tricked out electronics package.
