Exciting new sign ups for KOCH Media
BASINGSTOKE, England (March 27th, 2003) - European software publisher, KOCH Media announced today the exciting news that they have signed the European publishing rights to several JoWood titles, including the eagerly anticipated Aquanox 2: Revelation, Cold Zero - The Last Stand and Wild Life Park.
KOCH Media have acquired JoWood's top two 2002 commercially successful titles, Hotel Giant and Industry Giant 2 (20,000 and 10,000 2002 sales figures). Priced at £29,99, both games have proved very successful, each having a healthy product lifecycle and continuing to sell long term. Industry Giant 2 received much specialist press acclaim at the time of launch - 80% PC GAMER.
In addition, Industry Giant 2 Gold will be releasing Q3 2003. Offering the full game plus the recent add on pack, the Gold version will be excellent value for money, for all those entrepreneurial business management PC players.
Action / Adventure fans will be excited by the release of Cold Zero: The Last Stand. Set as a down and out detective, players find themselves embroiled into a dark world of mafia dealings, silent killings and urban warfare. With over 100 weapons to use, this full 3D, 3rd person action game will keep players in suspense and the finger tight on the trigger, as the player is immersed in a plot, which twists and turns, with an untimely death at every corner.
On a lighter side, the eagerly anticipated Wildlife Park enables players to build the zoo of the future. Developed in cooperation with animal care specialists, the game simulates the complete ecosystem and infrastructure of a modern outdoor animal park. With over 45 different species of mammals, reptiles, birds and marine creatures, the animals will only be happy if their enclosures are equipped with everything they need to satisfy their requirements in terms of food, movement and socialization. Otherwise they will become aggressive and endanger the safety of the park and its visitors.
"These titles are an exciting addition to the KOCH Media 2003 line up." Said Kerri Davies, Commercial Director at KOCH Media. "We are very pleased to have secured the European rights for these games and have high hopes for their commercial success."
