Thank you for trying Fighter Ace
The best way to enjoy the game is to use a joystick controller. With a joystick the controls are intuitive. Flight control with just a keyboard and mouse is possible, but definitely not easy.
The default joystick controls include the following buttons:
Button 1 - Fire guns
Button 2 - Toggle game map
Button 3 - Forward full-screen view
Button 4 - Padlock view to nearest enemy
Button 5 - Flaps down one position
Button 6 - Flaps up one position
Button 7 - Wheel brakes on/off
Button 8 - Landing gear up/down
To see the other control settings or to change the controls to suit your own preferences, click the Preferences button, then the Keys button.
