Strategy First today announced that Perimeter II: New Earth, the sequel to the RTS Perimeter (released back in 2004), is now Gold with a North American launch planned for January 20th, 2009. Perimeter 2 will introduce new energy gathering and utilization technologies and unit transformation mechanisms. New gameplay elements include excavation in search of mysterious psy-crystals. The game also includes an original RPG system and unusual story-telling methods, being also the first in a series of Perimeter games developed by KDV Games.
