Empire: Total War Delayed and New Details

SEGA has announced that Empire: Total War, the next installment in the Total War RTS franchise, has been delayed to early March 2009. Empire: Total War is set in the 18th century, a period alive with global conflict, revolutionary fervour and technological advances. The game is under development at The Creative Assembly and for the first time ever it includes 3D naval combat situations.
