Release date for Empire Deluxe Internet Edition announced

Killer Bee Software today announced the release date for Empire Deluxe Internet Edition, the remake of the classic turn-based strategy wargame developed in 1993 by Mark Baldwin and Bob Rakosky. The release date will be Wednesday, May 7th. The game will be available online after a credit card purchase for the price of $27.50 US.

Killer Bee Software acquired the copyrights and source code to two of Mark Baldwin's greatest games, Empire Deluxe and The Perfect General in December 2002. The games are currently being upgraded with playability on modern Microsoft Windows Operating systems, Internet play, new artwork and a more features. Enhanced Editions with game play changes for both games are planned for the future as well. Empire Deluxe Internet is currently in beta testing that began March 1st..
