During a media event in Stockolm, Paradox Interactive confirmed their 2009 line-up of titles and revealed new features from some of the games already announced. This year, Mount & Blade will get its own multiplayer expansion, with 32 players (possibly more – TBD) to play on a single map in team death-match skirmishes. The expansion also features improved AI, extended diplomatic options and HDR rendering. The media event also included a presentation by Frictional Games, the developer of the Penumbra Collection. Frictional Games announced their next project, an untitled horror game set in the 18th century and scheduled for release sometime in 2010.
