Capcom announced today that it has appointed THQ Asia Pacific Pty Ltd., a subsidiary of THQ Inc., as the sole distributor of its titles in Australia and New Zealand. Under the terms of the agreement, THQ Asia Pacific will be responsible for the distribution, sales and marketing for Capcom’s releases in this territory, effective immediately. Street Fighter IV and Resident Evil 5 will be released for Xbox 360 and PS3 on February 20th and March 13th respectively. Dead Rising: Chop Til You Drop is due for release on the Nintendo Wii on February 27th. In addition, THQ Asia Pacific will handle distribution for MotoGP on the Nintendo Wii and Neopets Puzzle Adventure set for release on the Nintendo Wii, DS and PC platforms.
