Major Leagues down to the minor details
2K Sports has announced that a playable demo for the Xbox 360 version of Major League Baseball 2K9 is now available via Xbox LIVE Marketplace. The demo supports two players, local only, and offers fans a chance to experience the newly improved pitching, hitting, fielding and baserunning controls in the game. Fans will also get a sneak peek at the stunning realism of over 300 new Signature Style animations. A new broadcast team with Gary Thorne providing the play-by-play calls alongside color analyst Steve Phillips gives a fresh perspective and more depth for a true-to-life, insightful in-game commentary. The PS3 demo will be available on Thursday, February 26 through the PlayStation Network Store. Major League Baseball 2K9 will hit the store shelves on March 3, 2009.
