Uhu! is an adventure game based on the fantastic Norwegian television series. The player takes on the challenge to guide Polter through the Ghost House, first to help all the ghosts succeed in their missions, and then to successfully travel all the way to the Hermetika. In order to do this Polter must explore the fantastic Ghost House and interact with its inhabitants, the ghosts we all know from the television series, trying to aid the indirectly with their quests as well as greeting new ghosts to the house as they arrive. The game is filled with stunning, colorful and exciting locations and interesting, mind-boggling puzzles. The game is non-linear and holds numerous of challenges and exciting things for you to discover. In Uhu! focus lies on letting the player tell a fantastic story and experience the warmth of the tv-series at the same time interacting with and helping their favorite characters. The basic story is non-linear but the player will still need to make priorities, for instance he will need to decide which ghosts to help first and helping one ghost in a certain way, might make it impossible to help one of the other ghosts, making the success rating of that particular session slightly lower. Explore the Ghost house of the Television series in order to gain Success Points by solving tasks and scaring away humans. Also, and more importantly, you have to aid the Main Character Ghosts from the Television series and all new arriving Ghosts with their respective quest in order for them to be able to go to Hermetika. To make things a bit more interesting and add a stress element to game play, the quests of the Ghosts have to be completed within a given timeframe. When you have succeeded to aid a number of Ghosts to Hermetika (as determined by the chosen level of difficulty), the option opens for you to try to reach Hermetika yourself and as such completing the game.
